Have questions? No problem! We'll be more than happy to answer your questions in person or over the phone. But here are a few of the most common:

Q. Is there an age limit?
A. Yes, you must be a minimum of 18 years old to book or stay alone at Authentic Accommodations. All ages are welcome to stay with adult. Authentic Events will be age-restricted at times.

Q. May locals participate and stay at Authentic PHX?
A. Authentic PHXs created by travelers for travelers. We encourage local residents to come check us an add to the experience. Schedule your event or staycation now.

Q. Do I have to have a membership to stay?
A. A what? No! Authentic PHX does not require any memberships. No hoops, no hidden fees, just awesome. But we do have VIP upgrades galore.

Q. Should I make a reservation?
A. We recommend that you make a reservation because rooms and events can sometimes book quickly. Plus, we'd love to chat with you, so give us a call or reserve online today!

Q. What happens if my plans change? May I cancel my reservation?
A. Here at Authentic PHX, we understand that change is part of the adventure! If something comes up and you must cancel your reservation, we ask that you let us know by noon (12:00 p.m.) the day prior to your scheduled arrival for your Authentic Accommodations Stay. If you are unable to give the cancellation notice within that window, your credit card will only be charged for the first night of your reservation. Authentic Events will have cancellation policies based on each, individual event.

Q. When is check-in?
A. Officially, check-in is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m daily for individual rooms. Unofficially, we have resident staff onsite. If you will be arriving before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m., please let us know in advance so we can be as prepared as possible for your arrival! At times, the entire property will be rented. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate early check ins.

Q. What if I need to arrive earlier than 3 p.m.?
A. Drop off your bag and start exploring Phoenix! Or if you prefer, hang out in our spacious communal areas if the entire place isn’t rented. There's plenty to do: curl up on the couch with a book, catch up on your emails and social with our free Wi-Fi, veg out on some Netflix, Hulu, Prime, or chat it up with the staff and other guests.

Q. What if I need to arrive later than 8 p.m.?
A. No problem - please just let us know in advance we have PIN code entry to check yourself in.

Q. Can I extend my stay past my reservation?
A. We would love to have you stay longer! Just keep in mind that reservations will be given first priority and all others will be on a first come, first serve basis.

Q. Is there a maximum stay?
A. Yes, we typically limit our overnight guests to a one month stay unless booked on an outside booking service such as Airbnb. If you would like to stay in Phoenix longer, please speak with the staff and we may be able to work something out.

Q. How many people stay in each room?
A. Each situation depends on if room is rented separately or if entire location is rented.

1. The Cactus Room has a king-sized bed. An air mattresses or sleeper, fold-out chair are available. Room is restricted to 4 people.

2. The Tortoise Room has a queen-sized bed. An air mattresses or sleeper, fold-out chair are available. Room is restricted to 4 people.

3. The Mountain Room & Ensuite has a king-sized bed. An air mattresses or sleeper, fold-out chair are available. Room is restricted to 4 people.

4. The Bar has a full-sized futon. Air mattresses or sleeper, fold-out chair are available. Room is restricted to 4 people.

5. The Common Room has a couch that is the size of two, twin-sized beds, room for air mattresses, and a sleeper, fold-out chair. Room is restricted to five people.

6. Total property is restricted to 21 overnight, guests.

Q. Does Authentic PHX make an effort to be environmentally conscious?
A. Yes! We recycle and encourage our guests to turn off the lights when they leave. We also regulate the temperature in the home and we have good insulation and windows to minimize energy use. We try to use actual dishes versus disposable. Guests keep the same linen during their stay to minimize water and energy use.

Q. How is the tap-water?
A. You can definitely drink tap-water from the faucet. We also have filtered water and ice available from the fridge for our guests.

Q. Do you allow pets?
A. Yes, we do allow pets. Additional costs and special pet-lease will need to be signed or we will help you to find a place for your pet to stay the night.

Q. Do you have secure storage and luggage storage?
A. We offer a $5/day locked rental but we can also store your luggage for up to 24 hours in an unlocked room if needed.

Q. Is the area safe?
A. Yes, Authentic PHX is located in a safe neighborhood. The home has a SimpliSafe security system and cameras that provide additional security. We generally have staff onsite.

Q. What do you have for sale at the Authentic PHX?
A. We have toiletry items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and deodorant for sale, and there are several convenience and grocery stores within a 5-minute walk for any other immediate needs you may have. We also have hand-picked Authentic PHX gifts, gift baskets, and snacks available.

Q. What else is near Authentic PHX?
A. We are in a lovely area of Midtown Phoenix. We have almost everything within walking distance, guests have access to emergency facilities, grocery and convenience stores, restaurants, bars, novelty stores, shopping and banking facilities, and sports centers! You can also access several cultural activities, museums, recreation centers using the easily accessible public transit. Just ask our staff and we'd be more than happy to help you get around.

1. Numerous, nearby restaurants, bars, shops just a few doors down or a couple blocks away.

2. 2 gas stations, liquor convenience store and grocery store within 3 blocks.

3. Wal-Mart, Target, mall, movie theatre 1.8 miles.

4. 2 Light Rail stations and 4 bus routes in less than 0.6 miles.

5. Grand Canal Trail with murals, great for running or biking 0.6 miles.
